Shelly & Kumar...

Most weddings days are planned for a year and then over in one day. Shelly and Kumar's wedding lasted almost a week! We were honored to be present for two of those days. The Sangeet was at the family home on Orchard Lake... when I say home I mean something off Cribs (MTV show)! It was a beautiful evening on the lake full of performances, dancing and incredible food form Rangoli Indian Cuisine. Next was the ceremony... and it just kept getting better, the Detroit Fillmore Theater! Most people attend the Fillmore to watch their favorite bands in concert... we were there to film a rock star type wedding! After the wedding it was off to the MGM Grand Casino for more awesome Bollywood style performances, Rangoli Cuisine and dancing into the night!
When filming a wedding it is always nice to work with other great professionals in the industry. We had the opportunity to work with Adam and Heather from Czap Studios for the first time at Shelly and Kumar's wedding and it was a great experience. I have been a fan of their work for a long time and now a fan of the people behind the work as well!

Sarah & Ricky...

We met Sarah and Ricky for the first time last year at a coffee shop and the conversations just clicked right away. This is a couple who have known each other since they were little kids and you could tell right away that they were not only in love but also best friends. If there was a theme for their wedding day it would have been "fun"! It might have been one of the most packed dance floors we had seen all summer! To top the day off we got to work with one of our favorite photographers, the very talented Marek Dziekonski... he always keeps things interesting:)

Nishi & Satish...

It's hard not to smile when you're around Nishi and Satish, their happiness is totally contagious!
From the first time we met, Nishi smiled and giggled and Satish just stared at her with adoring eyes.
Their wedding weekend began with a sangeet in Auburn Hills packed with friends and family, tons of food, performances, henna and dancing! The next day began with a baraat that worked it's way along the Detroit River to a beautiful ceremony location in front of Roberts Riverwalk Hotel. After the ceremony we were off to the three story Detroit Ovation yacht. More food and dancing while cruising the Detroit River... what a beautiful night!

Every great event has a great staff behind the scenes and this event was no exception! TwoFoot Creative made sure everything went as planned, Jonathan During and his lovely wife Stephany rocked the photos (see below), DJ Naveen pumped out the Jams and Rangoli Cuisine served a mouth watering spread!

Megan and Steven....

May 5th officially started our wedding season this year... and we started with a bang! Megan was a beautiful glowing bride who was just so happy all day and it was obvious Steven totally adored her... he kept telling everyone she was the MOST BEAUTIFUL woman in the world! All of your family and friends in one place, tons of great Italian food and a Cinco De Mayo reception party... couldn't get much better! Well for us it actually did... we got to work with one of our favorite photographers again, Jeffrey Lewis Bennett from JLB Wedding. Check out some of his sweet vintage style images below!

Dziekonski Photography...

Over the years we have worked with a lot of great photographers.
There are a few that we really LOVE and Marek is one of them:) The first time I saw some of his images I just thought...WOW! I mean seriously, this stuff should be on magazine covers! Not only is his work top notch, but his friendly goofy personality is just addicting and so much fun to be around. If you're looking for a incredibly talented photographer with a great personality you should definitely give Marek a call:) I also have to give a shout out to Lee Thomas from Lee Thomas Films for helping out with some of the location filming. Lee is another great filmmaker and a good friend... Thanks Buddy!

William Wyatt...

Wyatt has been rocking for years in Michigan, Arizona, Florida... and the list goes on and on! In the summer of 2012 he will even be doing a tour in Japan! He plays all of the great cover band songs but some of his best stuff is actually the music he has written and produced himself. You have got to love a guy who chases his dream! It was an honor for us to help him out with this short highlight video that we filmed at the Howell Opera House in November 2011.

Brandie & Joe...

Filming the last wedding of the season is always bitter sweet for us... excited to have our weekends back for a little much needed R&R, but also a little sad to not have all the fun events to attend. Brandie and Joe's wedding pretty much ended our 2011 season with a bang! Their families were so happy and excited all day, everything just seemed to go perfect! We started out at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester Hills... which is AWESOME! It was our first time filming there and we can't wait to go back, the place is really sweet. After everyone was ready to go we were off to the Zion Christian Church in Troy Michigan for a beautiful ceremony. Last stop was Cherry Creek Golf Course for an over the top reception. The lighting and design team from GoIzzy transformed the room into something truly special. Personalized martinis, an ice sculpture, huge flower bouquets at every table, coffee and tea bar, a carnival food stand... yes, I said carnival food! So many fun and cool things... but, I would have to say the mountain of gourmet cupcakes was definitely our favorite... YUM! To top everything off Brandie's dad played a rock version of Canon D for the grand entrance on his electric guitar... GREAT TIMES! One last thing, it always makes our job fun (and easier) when we can work with other great wedding industry professionals. We had the opportunity to work with our good friend and a truly talented photographer Marek Dziekonski... if you haven't seen his work you should check it out!

Kristen & Chris...

Had soooo much fun filming Kristen and Chris's wedding day. We met Kristen and Chris through Kristen's uncle Joe. Uncle Joe is a talented musician who we created a promo film for last year. Joe wanted to give his neice a really cool wedding gift so he decided to supply the band, DJ, and a wedding film of the day. Bet you wish you had an uncle Joe like that!!! Kristen, Chris and the whole rest of the family were so nice and down to earth... made our job easy:)
Here's a couple comments from Kristen on Facebook...

"Check out the video my uncle posted from our wedding!!! It is absolutly amazing :) Our videographer is outstanding !! And a extra special thanks to my Uncle Joey who made sure our special day was caught on video by none other than the absolute best!! Love you :)"

"got the finished copy of our wedding video last night :) Shane Tincu is an amazing videographer!!! I felt like I was watching a full production film :) He captured everything and it was just the most amazing thing I have ever seen...I will probably be watching that video multiple times today :) It was nice to revisit that day through his work!!! What a Party we had :) wanted to dance again just watching it!"
